Offices and shops are usually open from 8 A.M. to 12 Noon and from 1:30 to 5:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, and open during the morning hours on Saturday.

Business hours may vary by 30 minutes either way, and several offices and shops now remain open through lunch and close all day Saturday.

Saturday afternoon shopping is possible in a few stores in Papeete.

Banking hours are 8 A.M. - 3:30 P.M., with branch offices remaining open until 5 P.M.

Small shopping centers in the suburbs of Tahiti remain open later at night, until 7:30 or 8 P.M.
