1 - THE SOUTHERN REEF AT OE POINT. This site is typical of the oceanic slopes found on all the emergent islands in the Society group. The diving is easy and its not uncommon to spot dolphins following the boat, although they disappear upon your entry into the water. Be thats as it may, you will find a thriving underwater life. The large coral displays are refuge to the rougets, squirrel-fish, soldier-fish, merous, demoiselles, nasons, surgeon-fish, surmulets, parrot-fish etc... 2 - THE ANEMONE REEF. Here is another sight unique to Polynesia. Given such a minimal depth, this dive is notable for its palette of colours, both animal and vegetable. The blue, violet, yellow, brown and green coral provide a backdrop for this impressionistic seascape highlighted by a multitude of white and pink sea anemones among which circulate brown and green parrot-fish, golden-spotted perch, and clown-fish. A visual feast for the amateur underwater photographers. 3 - THE MURI MAHORA REEF. Once more for the pleasure of the beholder, the floor of this natural swimming pool is covered with porites, acropora and blue coral which have found growing conditions in this spot.
